The Egyptian Nile Valley, or the largest oasis in the world with the huge western desert on one side and the eastern desert on the other. In-between the Nile and the thin line of black earth and green vegetation. It was in this line or oasis that one of the greatest cultures known to mankind was born more than 5000 years ago.
From Aswan where the Nile God Hapi lived to the amazing amount of monuments in Luxor. The Nile Cruises between these two cities and the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu between them. Further down the Nile Assuit and the place furthest south where the Holy Family stayed in Egypt. Then Minia with her monuments and of course Cairo with her pyramids, Christian, Islamic and modern history and heritage.
All this and more is the Egyptian Nile Valley!

Top Destinations along the Nile Valley:
Cairo
The largest city in Africa and the Middle East. Said to have everything, only problem is to find it...
Minia
A smaller city in Middle Egypt with important monuments at Tell El Amarna, Beni Hassan and Hermopolis.
Luxor
Its original name was "Waset", the Greeks called her "Thebes", the Arabs "the castles" or "El Uqsur" - from which todays name Luxor came from.

Aswan
This city must be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, a place where the desert literally meets the Nile.
Cruises
The Nile Valley culture would not been without the river - and a hotel list would not be right without the floating hotels, on the Nile as on Lake Nasser.
